About Me

Nina Joshi is a strategic design leader and architect for flagship Gemini initiatives at Google DeepMind. She is currently shaping the future of human-AI interaction by defining new paradigms at the intersection of model intelligence and systemic logic. With 16+ years of experience, she specializes in navigating complex technical landscapes to deliver cohesive product strategies for emerging technology.

By staying deeply connected to the technology—whether it’s hardware or software—Nina ensures that visionary design is grounded in technical reality, resulting in stable and scalable product systems that serve both user needs and business goals. She thrives on aligning cross-functional priorities to bridge the gap between design intent and production-ready architecture.

Prior to her work on Gemini, Nina architected the AI-ready multimodal design systems for Google Assistant Auto and Watch. Her career includes roles as an Innovation Lead at Ericsson and the AT&T Foundry, as well as experience as a Product Design Engineer for HP Palm and Barnes & Noble Nook Media.

Nina’s work is rooted in an interdisciplinary foundation from Stanford University, where she earned a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) and a B.S. in Product Design Engineering. A prolific inventor, she holds 35+ issued patents in Consumer Electronics and IoT. She thrives at the junction where hardware, software, and intelligence meet to solve multi-dimensional product challenges.
