Guiding the Strategic Service to Product Pivot

I joined Esper to lead design and product strategy for their human-in-the-loop service model. Recognizing the operational service trap where labor scaled linearly with users, I partnered with the Founder and Head of Engineering to initiate a critical pivot toward a scalable software suite. By productizing the reasoning of top-tier EAs, I developed the Mint for Time experience, automating the logistics of time so users could focus on the content of their work.

Key Impact

  • Strategic Pivot: Co-led the decision and execution to transition from an operationally heavy service to a scalable software infrastructure
  • Experimental Ownership: Designed and shipped a suite of integrated products—including Charts, Ratings, and Agenda Check—to find product-market fit
  • High-Profile Validation: The resulting product logic and relaunch were utilized by high-performance teams at Dropbox, Salesforce, Uber, and Yelp
